The dates for the next Uruguay trip are November 12th - 22nd, 2008. We will arrive in Montevideo on the 13th and return via Miami on the 23rd.

Costs are....

7 people - 1600 USD
8 people - 1550 USD
9 people - 1450 USD

plus airfare. Everything else is included: all meals, travel inside of the country, lodging, health sanitary permits and export permits for fish, etc.

Uruguay 2008 ~ Trip Itinerary

Day 1 ( Nov 12)

Arrive in Uruguay.

Day 2 (Nov 13)

One day trip to Rosario, COLONIA, collecting in Arroyo Colla, south west

Day 3 (Nov 14)

To Cabo Polonio, sealions, night in Aguas Dulces at the beach

Day 4 (Nov 15)

From Aguas Dulces, route 9, 19 and 15 to the town of General Enrique Martinez, at the Rio Cebollati, night in town

 Day 5 (Nov 16)

We have only one collecting spot, so we have time to rent a boat and do all the Rio Cebollati until the "Laguna Merim". The river is big so difficult to collect, but very nice to take pictures!!! The boat trip takes 3 hours to the laguna and back and then we can do the collecting spot.

Day 6 (Nov 17)

From Gral. Enrique Martinez to Valentines We can stop and collect in 33 city. Night in Valentines at the Ranch

Day 7 (Nov 18)

Collecting in Valentines, new localities

Day 8 (Nov 19)

Travel from Valentines to Salinas, with 1-2 collecting stops on the road

Day 9 (Nov 20)

Salinas / free day
