2008 Uruguayan Cichlid Availability
Liisted below are the cichlids of Uruguay I will have available this year from previous collecting efforts. All breeding stock was originally collected on our collecting trips and subsequently raised at our facilities in Florida. Through these efforts we have learned a great many fascinating facts about these wonderful cichlids, including multiple colour pattern and body morphs on breeding males on some species; the stunning, very brief, delayed maternal mouthbrooding techniques of the mouthbrooders; and many more. I am very pleased and proud to be making many of these cichlids available to the hobby for the first time as affordable F1s.
